Business Auctions Selling

Our experienced team of valuers are always pleased to offer advice on the saleability of any item, and its value.

Should you decide to enter items into one of our auctions, they will be inspected by one of our valuation team. They will advise on the type of sale into which they should be entered, and the reserve (minimum price) which should be accepted for them. If you have larger items which you wish to sell, we can arrange to visit your premises/ home to inspect them and, for a small extra charge, collect and deliver them to the Salerooms.

Any agreed reserves will be clearly indicated on our presale entry forms/appraisal forms.

 

We require notification of goods two weeks before the auction.

Goods will be accepted on the Thursday prior to the Monday auction between 9am-4pm only.

 

Any electrical items entered for auction must be in full working order, if an item is returned, full commission will be charged.

 

Commission on goods is 15% + VAT

(Larger items may carry an entrance fee)

 

Photographs may be taken of particularly interesting lots and will be published on our website and will be advertised locally.

 

After the auction, providing your items have sold, we will forward you a cheque (less our charges) after 7 days.

 

Any unsold items MUST be collected the following day of Auction between 9am-1pm. Any items not collected and are left on the premises will incur storage charges.

 

Selling a Caravan

Caravan Entry Fee is £47.00 (inc vat)

Once this fee has been paid the caravan will be listed on the web, catalogue & advert.

Commission

Commission is 12.5 % with a minimum of £50

Therefore if the Caravan sells for £400 or less we take out £50 Anything above £400 its 12.5 %

 

ALL CHARGES ARE SUBJECT TO CURRENT RATE OF VAT

 

You are able set a reserve price on the caravan.

If we get an offer less than the reserve price we will phone to see if you will accept the bid, therefore please make sure we have a suitable contact phone number.

On Entry 3 forms of ID are needed

(Passport, Driving License & home utility bill)

Payment for Caravans

Payment is made by cheque one week from the sale

Clwyd Car Auctions do not accept liability or responsibility for any  accident, loss or damage from any cause which may occur on the Auction premises. Although our site is secure the vendor should be satisfied that the caravan has sufficient insurance cover for theft and damages whilst it is held on our premises.
